Lobster celebration in Copenhagen, Denmark
The first tanks of the fully sustainable and day-fresh Canadian lobsters arrived into Copenhagen last week. In celebration of this first shipment, leading restaurants in the city decorated their restaurants with banners and special menus cards communicating the benefits of the ocean freighted lobster.
The Copenhagen lobster celebration kicked off at Restaurant Ketchup located in the scenic Tivoli Gardens, Copenhagen, where Aqualife and the Canadian embassy hosted an event with 200 invited guests. The lobsters were taken straight out of the Aqualife tanks – and served as fresh as they come to the indulging guests. The Danish national TV-station TV2 covered the event; the TV footage can be viewed on: TV2 Lorry.
His Excellency, Canadian Ambassador to Denmark, Mr. Peter Lundy and his wife added a great contribution to the evening. The ambassador spoke to the guests, reinforced the great working relationship and trade Canada and Denmark.
The lobster event was also greatly participated by the Danish Technical University (DTU), Maersk Line and Maersk Logistics, as well as all the people that have been part of the Aqualife project over the years.
